UPDATING YOUR AD-AWARE DEFINITIONS

The download button below will download the latest definition files for Ad-Aware and install them into the correct folder on your computer. After clicking on the link you will receive one or more dialog boxes asking what you wish to do with the file. Choose the RUN button on any such dialog boxes until you see a dialog box that says the file was installed successfully. That's all there is to it. The date modified above may be a day or two later than the actual definitions file, but if the date above is later than your current definitions date, then you do need to update the definitions with this download. The download file is designed to automatically install the definitions then start up Ad-Aware for you to conduct a scan with the new definitions. It is highly recommended that you conduct the scan, but if you wish to wait until a later time to scan, simply close the Ad-Aware program when it appears.
